How it works

Enjoy the beautiful nature of Sloterplas for 2 hours while getting to know 5 other good deeders, in the warmth of the first floating sauna in Amsterdam. In Warm Hearts Sauna, you don't pay with money but with acts of kindness. This is how it works:

Before the booking

Do a good deed of your choice either for the planet or another being. Document it by taking a picture that relates to your good deed, and writing a short story. It is important you do this before the booking because you can't proceed without a story!

Visitors' good deeds

Booking

Proceed to the booking, and choose your time slot! You will share your experience with 5 other sauna visitors, and the Warm Hearts skipper.

After the booking, you'll receive a confirmation via email (check your spam please!) If you have any questions, contact warmheartsbookings@gmail.com

Book Us

During the visit

Bring with you:

- swimwear

- two towels

- flip-flops

- a bottle of water.

Wearing swimwear is mandatory.

Arrive at Buurtwerkplaats Noorderhof (President Allendelaan 1) at least 15 minutes before your session where you'll find a changing room, toilet, and tap to fill your water bottle. It's important to drink enough water while in the sauna.

We are a sauna that fosters connection. You are encouraged to speak with fellow good deeders! Our visitors come from more than 60 nationalities -- please know that you're welcome to wear a hijab, and we ensure a female-only crew when requested in the booking. Come with an open heart and listening ears, and you might hear stories of a lifetime!

During this whole adventure, you are in good hands of the Warm Hearts team. We're there to answer your questions, and guide a safe sauna experience. Here you can read more about the sauna rules.

Cancellations

Our sauna is run by volunteer skippers. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please email warmheartsbookings@gmail.com at least 48 hours in advance.

Due to no-shows and last-minute cancellations — leaving our sauna half empty and volunteers showing up for no guests — we have introduced a €7 late cancellation and no-show fee for Social Sauna. This fee only applies if you don’t cancel in time.
